How old does my child need to be to attend the chess club?
Our clubs are for kids of all ages from 5 - 18. The majority of our programs consist of student from 7-12 years old. We have had students as young as 4 and as old as 18 attend chess clubs.
What is your company's experience with kids and teaching chess?
Our primary instructors, Radu Roua and Anthony Hann have several years of experience teaching chess to kids.
Other instructors go through a monitored training program to ensure the clubs quality.
Chess Vision also completes background checks for all of their instructors.
My child is a beginner, is your club appropriate for him or her?
We have taught kids at all levels of experience, from those students just learning the moves to state champions. Our custom designed curriculum will take students from how the pieces move to the advanced tournament level.
What if my child has to start a club late or misses some classes?
We are aware that many students will occasionally miss a class due to an outside conflict or will start a program late. There is no problem with this. Our program is specifically designed for this eventuality. By using recurring themes with slightly different focus each time a student can miss a particular lesson but still keep up with the group.
