For more than two decades, the Oregon Cultural Trust has played a vital role in enriching our state’s cultural resources, supporting more than 1,600 nonprofits across Oregon. We have woven a unique and awe-inspiring cultural tapestry, united by artistry, defined by stories and guided by wisdom.
Much like the state itself, the Oregon Cultural Trust is so much more than it seems. It’s not just an organization, it’s a movement. A movement that inspires Oregonians to embrace and celebrate their culture through arts, heritage and humanities.Learn More

Oregon’s beauty reigns supreme. From its untamed coastlines to its towering forests and expansive deserts, our state is a visual masterpiece. But Oregon is so much more than breathtaking landscapes. It’s a canvas of creativity and innovation, where diverse communities, passionate people and offbeat events are the heart and soul of who we are.
Here, our donors possess a power found nowhere else in the country—the Cultural Tax Credit. With it, they can direct a portion of their state taxes to fund arts, heritage and humanities nonprofits, supporting the very things that make Oregon truly magical.
Follow these three steps to become eligible for the Cultural Tax Credit:
Add up all the generous donations you’ve made to one or more of our qualifying nonprofits this year.Haven’t donated yet? Discover which nonprofits we support! Find a Nonprofit

**NOTE: Maximum tax credit amounts are $500 for individuals, $1,000 for couples filing jointly, and $2,500 for class C-corporations. If the amount you owe in taxes is less than the donations you’ve made, please be aware that you will not receive a 100% refund in the form of a tax credit.
All of Oregon’s qualified cultural nonprofits are eligible to apply for one or more of the Oregon Cultural Trust’s regional or statewide grant programs. Check out our grants page or watch a short video on how you can fund your arts, heritage and humanities programs.
The Celebrate Oregon! License Plate was designed by the talented Liza Mana Burns and features 127 symbols that depict our history, heritage and cultural practices. Proceeds support Oregon’s vibrant culture. Plus, it looks great on any car!
